This report provides data on domestic violence offenses in Alabama, including homicides, for the calendar year of 2012. According to the report, 24 domestic violence homicides were reported in 2012; 25% of the victims were males and 75% were females; a firearm was the weapon used in 79% of the homicides; and 83% of the homicides occurred at a residence.
