ARRA: Extending the Unemployment Insurance Safety Net to Victims of Domestic Violence

This document explains the provisions in the federal stimulus legislation, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), that provide monetary incentives for states to allow access to unemployment insurance for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault who leave jobs due to the violence or are fired because of the violence.
