This study analyzes the findings of the 2008 National Transgender Discrimination Survey to examine whether certain sociodemographic factors and psychosocial risks, such racial identity, income, immigration status, or disability, are significant predictors of unequal treatment of transgender people in domestic violence programs and rape crisis centers. The article concludes by discussing implications for social service practitioners and future research.
