This paper argues that "young men can play a critical role in constructing a healthier world for women and men, a world free of violence and founded on principles of equity and compassion." The focus of this paper is on the ways in which schools can play a critical role in bringing this ideal to fruition. It encourages educators and advocates to work towards implementing violence prevention programs in schools and describes the importance of looking beyond obstacles in order to meet this challenge.
