This toolkit offers concrete strategies and action steps for being an ally to Indigenous nations. The toolkit provides best practices for folks who feel inclined to join Indigenous causes, outlines proper terms, grammar and common misconceptions, and offers strategies for taking action.

While the number of studies examining intimate partner violence (IPV) in Latin@ populations is growing, research on this issue continues to be limited in quality and breadth. This document from the National Latin@ Network compiles and summarizes key research on this topic.

To provide insight into the experience of teen dating violence (TDV) for Latin@ youth, Casa de Esperanza reviewed 10 years (2008-2017) of academic research that examines TDV with exclusively Latin@ samples. This review revealed a wide range of rates on the prevalence of TDV among Latin@ youth and identified a growing body of research that examines several potential individual and family level risk and protective factors.

This resource centers the experiences of women of color and people harmed by their partners, connecting violence against women to broader efforts advancing racial justice and prompting a paradigm shift in the field of intimate partner violence by moving beyond traditional strategies and responses that rely on punishment and criminalization to highlight restorative responses grounded in community, healing, and transformative justice to improve safety for survivors.

Beginning in the fall of 2016, the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic embarked in a a multi-year process of re-centering Indiana’s prevention strategies and program services in survivor-defined needs in order to examine what types of programs and services were most valued, what needs were unmet, and how communities could reduce violence by increasing safety and supports for all.
