Training Tools

This is a skill-building curriculum in negotiation, collaborative mindset, strategic thinking, and meeting facilitation. It is the third of three interrelated training curricula developed for staff of grassroots domestic violence organizations.

This curriculum is designed to help domestic violence programs reach out to underserved communities in order to address the issues of diversity and of the limited access to quality services for battered women from those communities.

This curriculum is designed to enhance public policy skill and knowledge of domestic violence advocates. It provides both a theoretical approach to systemic advocacy and basic hands-on-tools to help advocates better prepare for their work with systems.

This field manual offers mental health and public health professionals information on disaster preparedness and recovery to assist disaster survivors. It describes survivor reactions, at-risk populations, counseling, referrals, and stress prevention and management.

The Minnesota Center for Crime Victim Services and the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault, along with a workgroup of various MN sexual violence prevention organizations, agencies and individuals created this kit to support community sexual violence prevention efforts.

Administrators will find these guidelines useful in developing policies concerning sexual issues within the preschool setting. The guidelines reflect a comprehensive approach to sexuality education and are organized into six key concepts: human development, relationships, personal skills, behaviors, health, and society/culture.
