Youth-led activism is an important part of the anti-violence movement. In NRCDV's February 2019 TA Question of the Month, Rebecca Balog and Tanae LeClaire from the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center explore ways that adult advocates can expose youth to technical skills and create spaces necessary for them to successfully navigate and impact the anti-violence movement.

This brief provides a synthesis of the research connecting housing instability, economic insecurity, substance misuse, and domestic violence. NRCDV is proud to offer " My One Thing," a new 4 part mini series for #DVAM2018. Each week in October will feature the unique perspectives of advocates, survivors, and other community members who have been impacted by or are working to end gender-based violence.

Being surrounded by strong community, including neighbors one interacts with and cares about, can provide a buffer against experiences and consequences of intimate partner violence. NRCDV's October 2018 TA Question of the Month explores how neighbors and advocates can work together help bolster these strong spaces of social support for survivors.

Every year the National Call of Unity kicks off Domestic Violence Awareness Month by offering an opportunity to mourn, celebrate, and connect with advocates from national, state, and community-based organizations, governmental agencies, allied movements, survivors and their family and friends.
