Tricia Freeman with the Sarpy County Attorney’s Office said they have been contacted by motels that became aware of suspicious activity, “so whatever it looks like on any given day, we’re committed,” to the effort to halt these crimes.
Chief Schmaderer said he’s optimistic about getting compliance from the hotels in this campaign. He said, “I don’t know why you would want to be the hotel that’s known as the human trafficking place to go.”
